Can I manage multiple jobs at once?
Absolutely. Hansafield is built around the concept of projects. Each project has its own details, events, tasks, files, and more. You can have as many active projects as your business needs, filter by status or tags, and archive completed jobs to keep your list manageable.
How many team members can I add?
Hansafield uses per-user pricing, so you can add as many team members as you need. Each active member counts as one user. You can adjust your user count anytime through the billing portal.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Hansafield is designed mobile-first as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Your crew can access projects, schedules, and files from any smartphone browser without downloading an app. The interface adapts to screen size for a native-like experience.
How do I onboard my crew?
Invite team members by email from your workspace settings. They'll receive an invitation, create an account, and join your workspace. You can control permissions like access to confidential files, position sheets, and article pricing on a per-member basis.
Can I organize projects by customer?
Yes. Every project can be linked to a contact from your customer database. You can then view all projects for a specific customer, and customer details are displayed on the project page.
What if I delete something by accident?
Most resources in Hansafield go to a "trash" instead of being permanently deleted. Contacts, tasks, events, files, letters, and forms have trash with restore functionality. Files remain recoverable for 30 days before permanent deletion.
Can I customize fields for my industry?
Yes. Hansafield supports custom fields on projects, contacts, articles, and tasks. You can add text fields, dates, numbers, dropdowns, and even references to other contacts or team members. Configure these in your workspace settings.
How does scheduling work?
The scheduler shows a visual timeline of events for your team. You can view by day, week, or custom date range. Create events, assign team members as participants, and link events to projects. Double-click on a time slot to quickly create a new event.
Can I generate documents like letters?
Yes. Hansafield includes a letter module where you can create business correspondence with recipient details, subject, and body text. Letters can be linked to projects and exported as PDFs. You can also configure document footer content in your workspace settings.
Is my data secure?
Hansafield uses industry-standard security practices: HTTP-only session cookies for authentication, permission-based access controls, secure cloud file storage, and CDN delivery with signed URLs. Your workspace data is isolated from other organizations.
What about subcontractors?
Add subcontractors as contacts in your database. You can tag them for easy filtering, link them to projects as needed, and store all their contact details. You maintain control over what information your team members can access.
Can I track time spent on jobs?
Time tracking is planned for a future release. Currently, you can track job progress through tasks, events, and project status updates.
